Whitezip and Markor Technology announce merger

Operator Whitezip has announced a merger with iGaming player account management (PAM) and aggregation provider Markor Technology. Alongside this merger, Dersim Sylwan has also been appointed CEO of Casimba Gaming.

The newly merged company will operate under the Casimba Gaming brand, and will aim to offer customers a more expansive range of products and services while simultaneously expanding its global footprint.

Whitezip was founded in 2016 and is an operator that specialises in the acquisition, design, retention and front-end development of casino brands. The company is based in both London and Malta.

Founded in 2020, Markor Technology is a provider of B2B and B2C technology solutions and services to iGaming operators. The company’s head office is based in Gibraltar with other offices in Malta, South Africa and India. Markor Technology also has a portfolio of licences spanning across multiple iGaming jurisdictions such as Gibraltar, Ontario, Spain and more.

The new organisation remains committed to prioritising regulated markets, with special focus on the UK,Table games the Nordics and Canada. 

Casimba Gaming will be led by CEO Sylwan, who has been in the iGaming industry since 2007 and held several leadership positions at other iGaming organisations including: Leo Vegas Group, Kindred Group and Svenska Spel. 

Prior to becoming CEO of the merged company, Sylwan served as the CEO of Whitezip for two years.

Sylwan, newly appointed CEO of Casimba Gaming, said: “This merger between Whitezip and Markor Technology makes perfect sense.
